An Orangery or a Conservatory?
Historically a conservatory would have been made of glass and used to grow plants, an orangery would have had brick walls with gazed windows and roof. Both were a sign of affluence and would have been draughty and expensive requiring extra heating in the winter. At AllGlass we don’t mind what you want to call your extra space or what you use it for but can guarantee that it will look stylish, be light and airy and definitely won’t be cold and draughty. Whilst no longer being a sign of affluence a AllGlass conservatory will add extra floor space and value to your home.
At AllGlass we use a range of colour finishes, in shades to match or complement the rest of your building whether you have a modern or older style traditional house you can be sure your conservatory will blend in. We personalize the frames to match original colours with a spray paint that bonds perfectly to uPVC, forming a protective coating that never needs a repaint and comes with a 10 year weather proof guarantee. We supply and fit many different glass designs from leaded light, obscure to Georgian bars. You may want to mix and match, having a different design on smaller top windows, doors or side panels. All this will be discussed at length at the free initial consultation insuring a conservatory that is unique to you.
